Affiliate Terms & Conditions

1What you’re signing up for

You’re joining the BluePrintPup affiliate program. We’ll give you a unique tracking link. Anyone who clicks your link and buys a product on blueprintpup.com within 30 days, you earn 40% commission on that sale.

That’s the deal. The rest of this page covers what we expect from you in return, and what you can expect from us.

2How and when you get paid

Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal on the 1st of each month for all approved sales from the prior month.

• No minimum payout threshold. If you earned $14.80 last month, you receive $14.80 on the 1st
• You’re responsible for providing a working PayPal email at signup
• Sales are “approved” once the 30-day refund window has passed
• Refunded sales = reversed commissions (we cannot pay you for a sale that’s been refunded)

3What you can do to promote

• Share your link on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, blogs, podcasts, email newsletters, your own website
• Make honest reviews, tutorials, demos, before/after content using the guide
• Use any creative angle you want – we don’t dictate your content style
• Use promotional assets we provide on request (graphics, hooks, video clips)

4What you cannot do

• Spam your link in comment sections, DMs, or unrelated communities
• Bid on “BluePrintPup” or our brand terms in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or any paid platform (called brand bidding – it cannibalizes our own traffic)
• Make misleading claims about the product (e.g. “guaranteed to fix any dog in 7 days” – we don’t promise that, you can’t either)
• Create fake review accounts or buy reviews
• Use cookie stuffing, link cloaking that hides our brand, or any automated traffic schemes
• Promote on coupon, deal, or cashback sites without prior written approval
• Self-refer (use your own link to buy our product yourself for the commission – we detect and reverse these)

5Honest disclosure (FTC compliance)

If you’re recommending our product as part of an affiliate relationship, you must tell your audience. This is the law in the US (FTC), UK (CAP/CMA), and most other countries.

You don’t need fancy legal language. Any of these works:

• “#ad” or “#sponsored” in the caption
• “This is an affiliate link – I earn a small commission if you buy”
• YouTube: mention it in the first 30 seconds and put it in the description

If we discover you’re not disclosing, we’ll remove you from the program and reverse pending commissions.

6Cookie window and attribution

We use a 30-day last-click attribution model. If a user clicks your link and then clicks another affiliate’s link before buying, the most recent affiliate gets credit. This is industry standard.

If a user clicks your link and buys 31 days later, no commission. Sorry – it’s how the cookie expiration works.

7Termination

Either of us can end this relationship at any time, for any reason, with no notice required.

If we terminate you for violating the rules above (sections 4 or 5), any pending unpaid commissions are forfeited. If termination is for any other reason (you no longer want to promote, we discontinue the program, etc), pending commissions will be paid out on the next normal payout date.

8Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we do, we’ll email all active affiliates with what changed before the new terms take effect. You can choose to accept the new terms or end your participation.

9The fine print

This is a non-exclusive program. You can promote competing products. We don’t give you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or content beyond using them to promote our products in good faith.

We’re not employer/employee. You’re an independent contractor. Taxes, business registration, and any other obligations in your country are your responsibility.
