Privacy Policy
Plain-English explanation of what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
1Who we are
BluePrintPup is a digital product business operating at blueprintpup.com. When this policy says “we” or “us,” that’s who we mean. If you ever have questions, email us at [email protected].
2What we collect
We only collect what we need to deliver our products and run the business. Specifically:
- Email and name when you sign up for the free guide or buy a product
- Payment information (card number, billing address) processed by Stripe – we never see or store your full card details
- IP address and browser data automatically logged for security and analytics
- Cookies used for affiliate tracking and basic site functionality (more on these below)
3How we use your information
- To deliver the products you buy (sending download links, receipts)
- To send the free guide if you signed up for it
- To send occasional emails with tips, new products, or updates – you can unsubscribe at any time
- To prevent fraud and abuse
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, refund disputes, etc)
We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
4Who we share data with
We use trusted third-party services to run the business. They each have their own privacy policies and only get the data they need to do their job:
- Stripe – processes payments (card data goes to Stripe, not to us)
- Kit (ConvertKit) – sends our emails (your email and name)
- HostGator – hosts the website
- AffiliateWP – tracks affiliate referrals (anonymous click data)
We will never share your information with anyone outside this list except if required by law (e.g. a court order).
5Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. None of them are advertising or tracking cookies for third-party advertisers.
- Session cookies – keep you logged in and remember your shopping cart
- Affiliate tracking cookies – if you click an affiliate link, we set a cookie that remembers which affiliate sent you (so we can pay them commission if you buy). Lasts 30 days. You can clear cookies anytime in your browser settings.
6Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can do the following at any time:
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email
- Request a copy of all data we have on you – email us
- Request deletion of your data – email us. We’ll comply unless legally required to retain something (e.g. tax records of past purchases)
- Correct inaccurate data – email us
If you’re in the EU/UK, you also have rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7How long we keep data
We keep your information for as long as you have an active relationship with us, plus a reasonable period after for legal and tax purposes (typically 7 years for purchase records). Email subscribers who unsubscribe are kept on a suppression list to ensure we don’t accidentally email them again.
8Children’s privacy
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we’ll delete it.
9International users
If you’re accessing the site from outside the country where our servers are located, your data may be transferred internationally. By using the site, you consent to this transfer. We use providers who comply with appropriate cross-border data transfer rules.
10Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we’ll notify email subscribers and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
TL;DR – We collect the minimum data needed, never sell it, only share with services that run the business, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
